This blog is an attempt to get a lot of collaborators to work with me to build the history (and stories) of Earl Franklin Farnsworth's family. Contributors of all types and relationships are welcome. You can post your stories in the comments section here (where I'll post them later), or you can send email to thomas.farnsworth@gmail.com. All contributions will be fully attributed. I reserve the right to edit submissions before posting.

I discovered your blog while researching my Ten Eyck Family. Don't know if anyone has any interest in following that part of you lineage back but I can be contacted at godux10@msn.com.
Our lines connect with the Emma Sarah Mecham, wife of Earl Franklin farnsworht. I can take you back to Willem an gen eick, who lived in the Rhine Valley in Germany (Moers) in the late 16th century. His sone Coenradt Ten Eyck was among the first thousand or so Dutch sttlers who cam to New Amsterdam with the intention of staying. (1648)
